"Food is personal." Coming from a Southern background where food is a centerpiece at every gathering, we take that to heart! We believe, however, food should feed your senses AND nourish your body. So our desserts and even our syrups are old-school, made with enough sugar to be sweet, but not so much that you can't taste all the ingredients.
When Kate & Beth decided, in the midst of the economic downturn to set up shop, they knew it was a pie-in-the-sky cost goal to make everything from scratch, using a variety of local, organic, and sustainable ingredients...making sure they had available food for a variety of diets...paying workers a higher wage than the competition, and using sustainable to-go containers. Six years later, they are offering not only treats and coffee, but breakfast & lunch with the same commitment to food integrity-- while striving to provide you a nurturing environment to share with friends and family!
